Senior Cloud Engineer

Role: Sr Cloud Engineer Type: Full-Time Location: Remote (Must reside in Central or Eastern Time Zones) Travel: Occasional Join one of our clients in the cloud-native telecom infrastructure space, where innovation meets reliability.

We're looking for an experienced Sr Cloud Engineer who can lead complex network transformations and cloud-native deployments across hybrid environments.

Core Responsibilities: Design, deploy, and manage scalable, cloud-native telecom network solutions.

Lead implementation of WebScale platforms, Red Hat OpenShift, Red Hat OpenStack, Kubernetes, and virtualization technologies.

Administer and troubleshoot Linux-based environments with a hands-on approach.

Resolve networking and protocol-level issues in hybrid cloud environments.

Produce technical documentation for both engineering teams and executive leadership.

Maintain proactive incident resolution, performance monitoring, and solution optimization.

Manage project deliverables using tools like JIRA, ensuring timely communication and documentation.

Required Skills & Experience: Strong background in telecom cloud infrastructure and network function deployment.

Hands-on experience with: Red Hat OpenShift & OpenStack Kubernetes and containerized environments Linux systems administration and troubleshooting Deep understanding of network protocols, hybrid clouds, and cloud-native architectures.

Exceptional problem-solving capabilities with a proactive, ownership-driven mindset.

Proven ability to document processes, track progress, and communicate updates to stakeholders.

Additional Qualifications: Clear, concise communication skills (verbal and written). Proficiency in JIRA or equivalent project management tools.

Understanding of wireless communication and telecom network infrastructure.

Experience managing client relationships and delivering high-impact results.
