ENG Manufacturing Engineer I

Volt is immediately hiring an Advanced Manufacturing Engineer in Flemington New Jersey, with a well-known industry leader.

This is a first shift position.

As an Advanced Manufacturing Engineer you will: Contribute in projects and programs to improve safety, environmental performance, quality, productivity, and overall operational efficiency of the equipment often using Lean Principles and Six Sigma Tools Supports Capital Investment, New Product Introduction and New Technology Introductions to increase manufacturing capabilities Efficiently troubleshoots defects and variation, performing root cause analysis and applying systemic problem-solving skills and robust solutions Proactively communicates at all levels of the organization to drive direction and positive change Supports a dynamic 24x5 operation through a willingness to be on-call Estimated Duration 24+ months The ideal candidate will have: Bachelor’s degree or higher in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or a related Engineering field from an accredited university One year of manufacturing experience in a private, public, government or military environment Excellent mechanical and/or machine automation aptitude and problem-solving skills; practical and hands-on, with analytical comprehension and data driven decision making (preferred) Experience working in a Medical Device regulated manufacturing environment Pay Rate: $ 30.83 per hour *Pay range offered to a successful candidate will be based on several factors, including the candidate's education, work experience, work location, specific job duties, certifications, etc.
