Move Forward with Volt Volt is immediately hiring Sr Enterprise Architect in Houston, TX.

As a Sr Enterprise Architect, you will: The Senior Enterprise Architect will lead the definition and optimization of the Client's technology enterprise architecture that will be the cornerstone for the software applications portfolio.

At the highest level, the Senior Enterprise Architect will be responsible for aligning with business goals and technology.

Familiarity with common applications that support the whole downstream value chain and back-office functions in refinery operations will be essential, in addition to an appreciation of up-to-date architectural best practices.

Being comfortable with interacting with senior business management is key.

The Senior Enterprise Architect will establish and implement strategic initiatives and IT management best practices.

Additionally, will maintain an effective means of communication across multiple owners of applicable software, data sources, and technical support agreements, as required.

Job Duties: Enterprise Architecture-Develop and implement enterprise architecture standards, methodologies, and best practices.

Analyze current IT infrastructure and identify areas for improvement, recommending solutions that support Client’s business goals.

Develop architecture blueprints and detailed documentation to design effective and efficient IT solutions, ensuring they adhere to enterprise standards and Client IT guiding principles.

Strategic Planning and Business Alignment- Collaborate with stakeholders to identify business needs, assess current capabilities, and develop roadmaps for future state architectures that support the organization's strategic vision.

Understanding the business context and aligning technical solutions with strategic objectives Project Management- Manage multiple IT projects, ensuring project delivery and outcomes are being met.

Responsible for maintaining project plans, defining project scope, managing project budget, identifying and mitigating potential risks and ensuring documentation and reporting for the project(s) are competed.

Architecture Review Board (ARB)-Coordinate ARB discussions.

Review and assess project proposals submitted by various business areas to ensure alignment with technical environments and IT strategies.

Recommend technology opportunities for consolidation, reusability and manage architecture related risks.

Job Duties II: Continuous Learning and Improvement-Maintain up-to-date understanding of industry trends and technology advancements.

Reporting and Metrics-Provide reporting and metrics to track the performance and effectiveness of IT Projects being managed.

Governance, Risk and Compliance-Ensure that IT adheres to relevant laws, regulations, policies, and procedures.

Identify potential risks and develop plans to mitigate them.

This is a full-time permanent opportunity.

The ideal candidate will have: Bachelor’s Degree Minimum of 10 years of job-related experience.

List any specialized training or unique skills required: Business and financial expertise Leadership Strong communication skills Time-management skills Analytical & problem-solving skills Project management knowledge Deep understanding of Azure cloud services, SAP S/4HANA, SAP BTP, API management.

Salary: $130K - $140K/ Year *Pay range offered to a successful candidate will be based on several factors, including the candidate's education, work experience, work location, specific job duties, certifications, etc.
