Volt is immediately hiring a 3rd Shift Mold Injection Set Up Technician Volt takes great care of our great hires!

As a 3rd Shift Set Up Technician you will: Follow detailed setup instructions to prepare molding machines for production.

Identify and retrieve the correct tooling for each job.

Inspect tools for readiness and proper condition before installation.

Install molds into machines and connect necessary components such as cooling lines, heaters, and dryers.

Coordinate with material handlers to ensure the correct materials are loaded.

Configure machine settings including timing, temperature, and pressure according to specifications.

Communicate any special handling, trimming, or packaging instructions to operators.

Produce initial sample parts and inspect them for quality and accuracy.

Submit approved samples to quality assurance for validation.

Separate and manage scrap material for reprocessing.

Make process adjustments as needed based on quality feedback.

Halt production if critical quality standards cannot be met.

Perform basic maintenance on equipment and tooling.

Respond to quality alerts and implement corrective actions promptly.

Collect and submit sample parts for ongoing quality checks during production.

Purge machines and clean up at the end of production runs.

Maintain clear communication with other shifts regarding production status.

Oversee production activities to ensure customer requirements are met, including tooling, materials, packaging, and storage.

Submit accurate production records to the administrative team.

Support overall product quality by ensuring setups meet or exceed visual standards.

This is a Full-Time 3rd Shift Opportunity.

Pay Rate: $20/hr The Ideal Candidate will be: Experienced within Manufacturing Bilingual Spanish/English *Pay range offered to a successful candidate will be based on several factors, including the candidate's education, work experience, work location, specific job duties, certifications, etc.
