About the Team
The IT Production Systems Team within Scout is responsible for ERP, MES, and SCADA systems required to operate the Blythewood Production Center. This role is specifically designed to lead the end-to-end project management, ensuring the successful execution of ERP projects while maintaining alignment with organizational goals and adapting to shifting priorities.
What you’ll do
Become part of an iconic brand that is set to revolutionize the electric pick-up truck & rugged SUV marketplace by achieving the following:
Lead and manage complex cloud-based projects from planning to execution, ensuring timely and high-quality delivery.
Develop, maintain, and continuously improve project workflows to streamline cloud account provisioning and management.
Collaborate with engineering teams, stakeholders, and leadership to align project objectives with broader strategic goals.
Implement effective project organization strategies, balancing multiple priorities and adapting to evolving requirements.
Monitor cloud environments, ensuring compliance with security, governance, and operational standards.
Contribute hands-on to cloud infrastructure initiatives, supporting engineering teams in solving technical challenges.
Drive process improvements and automation to enhance cloud account efficiency and scalability.
Utilize project management tools and methodologies to track progress, mitigate risks, and improve execution.
Facilitate clear and concise communication across teams, ensuring transparency and alignment on key deliverables.
Interface directly with key business customers and other IT organizations relevant to process definition, planning, system integration, testing, and hyper care during ramp-up
Contribute to designing and support of integration activities across entire ERP ecosystem including data lifecycle management and security integration.
Location & Travel Expectations:
This role will be based out of the Scout Motors location in Columbia, South Carolina.
The responsibilities of this role require 3-4 days attendance in office with in-person meetings and events regularly.
Applicants should expect that the role will require the ability to convene with Scout colleagues in person and travel to participate in events on behalf of the company from time to time.
Travel: Domestic and International travel up to 15% of the time. Passport required.

A bachelor’s degree in computer science or related technical field preferred, or at least six years of IT application deployment experience in lieu of degree.
4+ years of experience in cloud delivery and operations, including managing cloud-based projects, preferably in an automotive environment.
At least two years of experience in project management, preferably within cloud computing, IT services, or software engineering.
At least two years of hands-on experience in cloud operations, including development, deployment, and maintenance of cloud products.
Proven track record of managing large-scale projects in cloud environments from inception to completion.
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Expertise in cloud delivery and operations, including hyperscale account management and cloud infrastructure best practices.
Strong organizational and strategic planning skills, with the ability to manage multiple concurrent projects and shifting priorities.
Proficiency in project management tools such as JIRA and Confluence, along with agile methodologies.
Excellent problem-solving abilities with a proactive, results-driven mindset.
Ability to work under pressure in complex project environments, balancing business needs with technical execution.
Ability to work with others efficiently and effectively in a dynamic greenfield environment.
Demonstrated ability to think strategically while executing tactically, ensuring alignment between short-term tasks and long-term objectives.
Valid driver's license.

Pay Transparency
This is a full-time, exempt position eligible to receive a base salary and to participate in an annual performance bonus program. Final salary offered will be determined based on factors including but not limited to the candidate's skills and experience. The annual performance bonus program is preset and not candidate dependent.
Initial base salary range = $110,000.00 - $130,000.00
