Our F-35 Sustainment Team is seeking a senior program manager / program director to lead the Fleet Readiness IPT. This position will report directly to the F-35 Sustainment Director within the F-35 Solutions Product Line. While there may be an opportunity for a hybrid schedule in the future, this is a full-time, onsite role based in Merrimack, NH (MNH25/MER24).
This is a newly created position to lead a portfolio with a focus on F-35 Fleet Readiness via Performance Based Logistics, Repairs, Mods Programs, and Predictive Analytics.
The ideal candidate will have strong leadership, program management and business acumen skills with sustainment / product support experience.
In this job, you will:
Take responsibility for management and execution of a contract/program/IPT.
Review status of projects and budgets, manage schedules, and prepare status reports.
Assess issues and develop solutions to meet productivity, quality, and customer satisfaction objectives.
Manage direct report(s).
Lead briefings and high-level meetings.
Interact with senior-leadership and customers concerning projects, operational decisions, contracts, and strategies.
Actively promote a culture of diversity, safety, health, and personal well-being for the program team.
Maintain a safe work environment and ensure compliance with safety and environmental objectives.

Typically a Bachelor's Degree and 12 years work experience or equivalent experience

Demonstrated mastery of Program Management, Life-Cycle Management and Risk & Opportunity Management
Track record of success in planning and executing large, complex programs
Experience working with multi-discipline cross functional project teams, utilizing strong communication and collaboration skills to successfully manage assigned program(s)
Ability to understand and communicate with senior management regarding program performance status (cost/schedule/resources/risk) as well as performance to annual financial objectives
Demonstrate visible leadership across the program leading by example and driving program performance excellence
Excellent written and oral communication skills with experience presenting to senior leaders and customers
Strong leadership, coaching and mentoring skills with the ability to achieve results through others.
Business acumen mindset, awareness within and outside the business
Exercise discretion and independent judgement in the performance of duties and in external interactions
Actively manage customer and stakeholder relationships to achieve positive outcomes for all parties
Review and monitor metrics on the projects and provide support as required to the product area director
Experience developing and delivering winning proposals
Ability to obtain a SAP/SAR clearance level
