Healthcare system is seeking a BC/BE Medical Oncologist with demonstrated leadership experience to serve as Medical Director and lead their cancer programs in southeastern Connecticut.
Position Overview: The leader will oversee cancer care at two hospitals and four ambulatory medical oncology practice sites, all of which have been newly constructed or renovated in the last 5 years.
The incumbent will work closely with the region s medical and administrative leadership team, medical oncology directors across our other 4 regions, and with senior leadership.
Institute is comprised of a team of more than 40 medical oncologists who are local and national leaders in their fields.
Many of our physicians have advanced sub-specialty training, and are backed by a full team of interdisciplinary medical and surgical specialists across the system of care The Cancer Institute sees more than 7,000 analytic cases/year.
