Job Title: Scheduler / Sub Fabrication Coordinator

Position Overview:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Scheduler / Sub Fabrication Coordinator to
produce and maintain shop fabrication schedules, manage and maintain schedules for sub-fabrication processes.
This role is critical in ensuring the timely and efficient production of structural and miscellaneous steel components. ensuring the efficient execution of pre-fabrication and fabrication processes. This role focuses on structural and miscellaneous steel Production Scheduling and leverages expertise in Tekla EPM to optimize workflows.
The ideal candidate will report directly to the Production Manager and play a key role in maintaining project
timelines and quality standards.
Key Responsibilities:
• Develop, update, and maintain comprehensive fabrication schedules to support production goals.
• Oversee sub-fabrication processes, ensuring alignment with project deadlines and quality standards.
• Coordinate with teams involved in pre-fabrication and shop fabrication to ensure seamless workflows.
• Utilize Tekla EPM and Microsoft Excel to manage scheduling, monitor progress, and identify potential scheduling conflicts.
• Relay and coordinate files for Sub-Fabricators.
• Provide timely updates, reports, and performance metrics to the Production Manager and Project Management staff.
• Collaborate with procurement, production, and quality control teams to ensure all materials and processes meet project requirements in sub-fabrication.
• Address and aide in resolving scheduling issues, proposing solutions to minimize delays or inefficiencies.
Qualifications:
• Strong knowledge of sub-fabrication and shop fabrication processes, particularly in
structural and miscellaneous steel.
• Hands-on experience in developing and maintaining fabrication schedules.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and willingness to learn Tekla EPM software.
• Excellent organizational, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Ability to multitask and adapt in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
• Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent experience.
Preferred Qualifications:
• Prior experience in a manufacturing or steel fabrication setting.
Reporting Structure:
This position reports directly to the Production Manager and collaborates closely with shop and
project teams.
