Job Title: Machine Operator
Job Description
The Machine Operator is responsible for operating various machinery to manufacture axle components. This role includes assembly work, quality control, material handling, and adherence to safety protocols.
Responsibilities
Operate CNC machines, stamping machines, and stud presses to manufacture axle components.
Perform bench, floor, or conveyor assembly tasks involving standardized work elements.
Inspect and test components to ensure they meet quality standards.
Move materials using forklifts and other equipment.
Follow safety protocols, including wearing personal protective equipment such as safety glasses, gloves, ear plugs, and safety shoes.Essential Skills
Proficiency in machine operation and general production tasks.
Experience with assembly, inspection, and use of hand tools.
Ability to use measuring tools such as tape measures and calipers.
Strong troubleshooting and mechanical skills.Additional Skills & Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalency preferred.
Prior manufacturing experience preferred.
Experience with hand tools is a plus.
Excellent communication skills.
Ability to work collaboratively as a team player.

Work Environment

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Atlanta, Georgia.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $18.54 - $18.54/hr.
