Join our client, a leader in the Material Handling and Storage industry, as a Maintenance Technician. Located in Leola, PA, they are recognized across the country for their ability to engineer and manufacture vertical storage solutions for heavyduty industrial applications.

Job Description

The successful candidate will be working in our maintenance department, supporting our production floor by maintaining and servicing the equipment and machines used day-to-day to meet production goals, to include: troubleshooting equipment failures, routine and emergency mechanical, hydraulic/pneumatic and electrical maintenance.

Essential Functions

Cover all emergency break downs and repairs in a timely manner.

Report problems with equipment, leaks, and other deficiencies and act as needed.

Perform preventative maintenance tasks in accordance with the Preventative Maintenance Program.

Troubleshoots and repairs 3-phase motors up to 480v

Utilizes testing equipment including multi-meters

Electrical background preferred

Familiar with 480vAC,120vAC, 24vDC and 4-20mA systems

Will have a basic understanding of pneumatics

Assess operational state of equipment, filters, oil, hydraulics, compressors, motors, pumps, plumbing and electrical systems and determine course of action if needed.

Skills & Qualifications

Possess the skill and ability to perform all basic mechanical and electrical duties required.

Understanding of pneumatics, hydraulics, temperature, and pressure gauges

Ability to learn and understand manufacturing processes and able to inspect and repair or replace components.

Proficient in reading and following basic blueprints, manuals, and mechanic and electrical schematics

Experience operating test equipment and/or software

Mechanical aptitude and ability to troubleshoot moderately complex problems including knowledge of machines and tools, their designs, uses, repair, and maintenance

Minimum of 2 years of well-rounded and progressive maintenance, diagnostics, and repair, or comparable experience with trade school or training

At least 2 years of Maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment (preferably in industrial manufacturing)
