Cost Analyst – Long Beach, CA Hybrid Manufacturing High-Growth Opportunity

We’re seeking a Cost Analyst to join our manufacturing team in Long Beach. If you're detail-oriented, love digging into inventory and costing, and have a passion for improving processes, this is your opportunity to grow with a fast-moving company.

What You’ll Do:

Analyze inventory and product costing data to support month-end close

Prepare journal entries, reconcile GL accounts, and ensure financial accuracy

Validate inventory reports and stock valuations

Work cross-functionally to streamline cost and inventory processes

Identify variances, investigate root causes, and recommend improvements

Use ERP systems to manage cost and inventory data

Support audits and provide documentation as needed

What You Bring:

Strong knowledge of cost accounting and inventory processes

Experience in manufacturing environments preferred

Proficiency with ERP systems and Excel

A mindset for continuous improvement and process optimization

• Familiarity with reporting tools like Crystal Reports for financial analysis.

• Knowledge of general accounting functions, including accounts payable and month-end procedures.

• Experience with budgeting and variance analysis processes.

• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail for accurate financial reporting.

• Excellent organizational and time management abilities to meet tight deadlines.

• Ability to collaborate effectively with team members and other departments.
