Job Title: Quality Inspector
Job Description
This role requires expertise in aerospace manufacturing environments under the AS9100 quality system. The Quality Inspector will perform inspections on select pieces for each job, ensuring continuous quality control. The position involves completing First Article and Final Inspections and requires proficiency in using Calipers and Micrometers. A background in CMM and CAD is advantageous. The inspector will measure and record results on Router and AS9102 reports, maintaining quality standards by approving incoming goods, in-process production, and finished products.
Responsibilities
Perform inspections on select pieces of each job continuously.
Complete First Article and Final Inspections accurately.
Use Calipers and Micrometers effectively; a background in CMM and CAD is a plus.
Measure and record measurement results on Router and AS9102 reports.
Maintain quality standards by approving incoming goods, in-process production, and finished products.Essential Skills
Proficiency in blueprint reading and understanding machine shop operations.
Experience in aerospace manufacturing environments under AS9100 quality system.
Skill in using Micrometers and Calipers.
Ability to measure and record results accurately on Router and AS9102 reports.
Knowledge of quality inspection, quality control, and assurance.Additional Skills & Qualifications
Shop math skills and good penmanship.
Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Outlook, and Windows.
Ability to type a minimum of 25 words per minute with excellent accuracy.

Work Environment
The work environment is a machine shop where proper PPE is required when necessary. Some areas may be loud and dusty. The role is ideal for someone with a long-term mentality.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Corona, California.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $25.00/hr.
