We are looking for an experienced Payroll Administrator to join our team in Sparks, Maryland, on a Contract to permanent basis. Responsibilities:

• Process payroll for over 11,000 employees across multiple states, including California, ensuring compliance with state-specific regulations.

• Manage payroll operations for unionized employees, including maintaining accurate records and adhering to collective bargaining agreements.

• Utilize PeopleSoft to create detailed tables, charts, and reports to support payroll analytics and decision-making.

• Collaborate with internal teams to support the ongoing implementation and enhancement of payroll systems.

• Ensure accurate administration of employee retirement plans, including 401k and RRSP contributions.

• Conduct audits to maintain payroll accuracy and identify areas for improvement.

• Handle multi-state payroll processing and compliance for a large workforce.

• Provide expertise in UKG Pro, UKG Ready, and UltiPro systems to optimize payroll operations.

• Assist in preparing for system upgrades and transitions as needed.• Minimum of 3 years of experience in payroll administration, preferably in a multi-state setting.

• Proficiency in processing payroll for large organizations with over 500 employees.

• Strong expertise in using payroll software such as UKG Pro, UKG Ready, and UltiPro.

• Familiarity with PeopleSoft for creating payroll-related tables, charts, and analytics.

• Experience managing union payrolls and understanding collective bargaining agreements.

• Knowledge of 401k and RRSP administration processes.

• Ability to conduct audits and ensure compliance with payroll regulations.

• Excellent organizational and analytical skills to manage complex payroll operations.
