Back End Engineer (Compliance)

Job Description

We are looking for a skilled Back End Engineer to join our team in New York, New York, on a Contract to permanent basis. In this role, you will design, develop, and maintain robust systems that facilitate financial exam reporting and integrate seamlessly with blockchain technology. Responsibilities:

• Design and implement backend systems tailored for financial exam reporting, incorporating blockchain integration.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to create solutions that meet compliance requirements and business objectives.

• Develop secure connections and integrations with blockchain technologies to ensure adaptability and scalability.

• Stay informed on advancements in backend development and blockchain technology to apply cutting-edge solutions.

• Architect scalable systems that address current business needs and anticipate future market demands.

• Translate complex product requirements into efficient and user-centric backend solutions.

• Ensure systems are compliant with regulatory frameworks and standards, including AML, KYC, GDPR, and others.

• Troubleshoot and optimize backend performance to maintain system reliability and security.

• Provide technical expertise and guidance during product development cycles to drive innovation.• Minimum of 5 years of experience in backend engineering, with startup experience considered a plus.

• Proficiency in backend technologies such as Typescript, Go, Snowflake, and PostgreSQL.

• Demonstrated experience in developing compliance tools within blockchain or fintech environments.

• Strong understanding of regulatory frameworks such as AML, KYC, and GDPR, and their impact on product workflows.

• Ability to translate customer-focused product requirements into scalable backend architectures.

• Proven track record of delivering impactful solutions in fast-paced, dynamic environments.

• Solid problem-solving skills and ability to optimize system performance.

• Familiarity with blockchain integration and secure connection protocols.
