Network Administrator

Job Description

5 days onsite

•Administer, manage and monitor all network infrastructure, including Wi-Fi networks, ensuring optimal coverage, security, and performance.

•Install, configure and maintain all network devices, including routers, switches, firewalls and wireless access points.

•Liaison with a third-party consultant for larger networking projects.

•Assist in server infrastructure support, disaster recovery planning and cybersecurity initiatives.

•Assist with employee IT support calls.

•Administer, manage and maintain access controls and security policies.

•Research and implement new technologies to improve business operations.

•Maintain detailed documentation of network configurations, procedures, changes and troubleshooting.

•Manage vendor relationships for network and IT services.

Requirements

•3 to 5 years of experience in IT support and network administration.

•In-office presence 5 days a week.

•Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with all levels of the organization.

•Participate in network-related projects, including implementations, upgrades and decommissioning of systems.

Relevant Skills and Qualifications

•Experience with application vulnerability scanning, PEN testing, IDS/IPS.

•Hands-on experience with Fortinet Firewall, WAPs and Juniper switches is preferred.

•Working knowledge of SIEM solutions is preferred.

•Working knowledge of Active Directory/EntraID, MDM, virtualization and SaaS platforms is preferred.

•Knowledge and experience using the NIST Framework is a plus.

•Proficiency in IaS and automation scripting (PowerShell, Python, etc.) is a plus.

•Experience with Ekahau is a plus.

•Solid understanding of TCP/IP stack, network infrastructure, Wi-Fi optimization, virtualization, security principles and best practices.

•Hands-on experience managing firewalls, configuring IPSec VPN tunnels and IDS/IPS policies.

•Strong experience with AWS compute, security, monitoring and network stacks, including EC2, IAM, Security Groups, Route53, CloudWatch, VPC, NAT/Transit Gateway.Pen Testing, IDS And/or IPS, Fortinet Firewalls, Juniper Switches, SIEM Tools, Active Directory, MDM Technologies, Virtualization, SaaS Platform, International Accounting Standards (IAS), Python, Ekahau, TCP/IP, Amazon EC2, IAM, Amazon CloudWatch, Amazon VPC
