Finance & Accounting Intern (Summer): To assist the Finance and Accounting department with Account Payable (Service, Supply, Trane, Parklawn) and Credit and Collections duties.

Workplace Type: Hybrid: 3 days per week in person

Office Location: Gaithersburg, MD

Essential Duties:

- Assist with Trane Invoice Indexing and Vouchering

- Assist with Service Business related costing (indexing)

- Assist with Supply Business related costing (indexing)

- Assist with Parklawn Business related costing (indexing)

- Accounts payable - assist with Statement Reconciliation

- Respond to client requests for invoices and/or statements

- Credit and Collections: Update client accounts

- Credit and Collections: Initial and follow-up contact with clients about past due balances - this is expected to be in the form of e-mail and phone calls

- Other duties as assigned

Education and Experience Requirements:

- Currently pursuing a college degree

- 1 year of work experience preferred

- Client service experience preferred

- Knowledgeable in MS Office; Adobe and Outlook

- Excellent written and verbal communication, able to prioritize, and strong critical thinking and listening skills

- Detailed, organized, analytical, able to multi-task, enjoys staying busy
