Job Description

Minimum 1+ years school psychologist experience required.

Dynamic opportunity available for professional School Psychologists in Clifton, CO, within a supportive K-12 educational environment. This contract position spans the school year, focusing on enhancing student well-being and academic success through specialized psychological services.

Key Responsibilities:

Conduct prehensive psychoeducational evaluations to assess cognitive, academic, emotional, and behavioral functioning.

Participate in Eligibility Determination and IEP meetings, adhering to Colorado Department of Education guidelines and federal regulations.

Collaborate with educators, administrators, and families to design and implement evidence-based interventions.

Provide short-term individual or group counseling and crisis support to students.

Act as a key member of MTSS and RTI teams, assisting with Functional Behavior Assessments and contributing to Behavior Intervention Plans.

Support initiatives related to social-emotional learning and trauma-informed practices.

Maintain accurate and confidential student records and reports.

Required Qualifications:

Masters or Specialist-level degree in School Psychology from an accredited institution.

Eligibility for a Colorado Department of Education Special Services License with endorsement in School Psychology.

Knowledge of IDEA, Section 504, FERPA, and relevant laws and regulations.

Strong assessment, consultation, and collaboration skills, with a focus on culturally responsive practices.

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience in a K12 public school setting.

Familiarity with data systems used in Colorado schools, such as Infinite Campus and ICAP.

Bilingual in Spanish and English is a plus.
