Prepare project drawings, specifications, and schematics to support the installation of fire sprinkler systems.

Verify project requirements and coordinate with Project Managers and Sales to ensure designs comply with all applicable Federal, State, and local codes.

Layout sprinkler devices based on basic and complex designs.

Maintain a solid understanding and application of NFPA codes and standards.

Interact professionally with customers, vendors, and co-workers.

Demonstrate adherence to all company safety regulations and practices.

Follow all company policies, procedures, and core values.

Perform additional duties as assigned by management.Required Qualifications:

Minimum of 5 years of experience in CAD fire sprinkler system design.

Strong understanding of fire sprinkler systems and applicable codes and standards.

Ability to pass drug screening and background checks.

Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Ability to meet state licensing requirements and/or vendor certifications.

Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint).Preferred Qualifications:

Experience with HydraCAD, Hydracalc, and/or Hydralist software.

NICET Level III certification (or higher) in Water-Based Systems Layout.

Working knowledge of REVIT and X-REF applications.Physical Demands:

Ability to sit for extended periods of time.

Ability to effectively use standard office equipment, including computers, telephones, photocopiers, filing cabinets, and fax machines.

Ability to perform repetitive motions while using a computer.

Regularly required to talk, hear, sit, stand, walk, use hands to handle or feel, and reach with hands and arms.
