About the Role
We’re seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Legal Assistant/Paralegal to support our attorneys across a range of legal matters. This is a full-time, in-office position in Upland, CA, ideal for someone who thrives in a team setting and is looking to grow their career in estate law. You’ll be an essential part of our client service and legal operations—handling everything from document preparation and research to court coordination and client communication.
Key Responsibilities
Draft and prepare legal documents including wills, trusts, pleadings, discovery, and correspondence
Conduct legal research and prepare legal memoranda
Organize and maintain physical and digital case files with accuracy and attention to detail
Track deadlines, manage calendars, and ensure timely follow-up on case-related tasks
Participate in depositions, assist in court filings, and coordinate with court personnel as needed
Communicate professionally with clients, witnesses, and other parties involved in cases
Support estate planning, probate, and trust administration matters from start to finish
Provide day-to-day administrative support to attorneys across various phases of each case
Requirements
2+ years of paralegal or legal assistant experience preferred
Bilingual in Spanish (preferred)
Paralegal certification, Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree
Strong understanding of California legal procedures and terminology
Excellent communication and writing skills
Highly organized with strong document and time management skills
Proficient with Microsoft Office and legal research tools
Ability to multitask and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
