Job Description
As a Material Handler, you will be responsible for managing the storage, movement, and disbursement of materials to meet production requirements. This role involves approximately 60% forklift operation and 40% manual picking.
Responsibilities
Complete PIT equipment training and certification for forklift operation at the facility.
Ensure proper warehousing of materials.
Attend daily pre-shift meetings to align with production goals.
Learn and utilize the inventory management system efficiently.
Understand and follow instructions on build tickets and picking documents.
Safely and properly move materials through various stages: from truck to dock, dock to rack locations, rack locations to picking areas, picking areas to kits, picking areas to production, and picking areas to outbound customer facilities.
Adhere to all safety regulations at all times.
Support the Quality and Environmental policies and Management Systems.
Perform other duties as needed or required.Essential Skills

Work Environment
Work within a production facility featuring six assembly lines. Shifts are Monday through Friday, with options for 1st shift and 2nd shift from 3pm to 12:30am. Dress code includes steel-toed shoes, jeans, and a t-shirt, with PPE such as eye, ear, and hand protection provided.
Job Type & Location
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Alburtis, Pennsylvania.Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $22.00/hr.
