Schedule: Monday–Friday 9x80 Flex Schedule

Job Type: Full-time 6–12 Month Consultant Role

Pay Rate: 52.04 – 65.24/hr (commensurate with experience)

This position requires use of information or access to facilities subject to the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) and/or Export Administration Regulations (EAR). These regulations may limit access of controlled technologies: 1) to U.S. Persons, including U.S. Citizens, lawful permanent residents, and other narrow categories including refugees and asylees, or 2) to certain foreign nationals that have received an export license. PDS Tech Commercial is seeking a highly motivated Structural Engineer to support advanced aerospace programs. In this role, you’ll work on the mechanical and structural analysis of complex spacecraft systems, directly contributing to the success of missions in space, defense, and aviation.Key Responsibilities

Perform static and dynamic structural analysis on spacecraft systems or subsystems.

Review materials and structural system requirements, selecting suitable technical approaches.

Apply engineering principles to develop and verify design characteristics.

Release technical documentation following internal review procedures.

Collaborate with technical teams to coordinate and conduct test programs.

Analyze design performance, recommend improvements, and support hardware evaluation.

Drive innovation by refining structural concepts and solving design challenges.Required Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in STEM (Mechanical Engineering or Structural focus preferred).

Minimum 5 years of experience, or 3 years with a Master’s degree.

Proficient in mechanical analysis tools such as NX FEMAP/NASTRAN (or equivalent).

Solid foundation in structural engineering for aerospace applications.Preferred Qualifications

Experience with spacecraft or subsystem static/dynamic testing.

Proficiency in MATLAB for modeling and analysis.

Pay Details: 52.04 to 65.24 per hour
