We’re recruiting for a Controller to join a growing manufacturing company located within commuting distance of Spartanburg, SC. What You’ll Do:

Oversee day-to-day accounting operations: A/R, A/P, inventory costing, and general ledger

Lead the monthly, quarterly, and annual close process

Prepare journal entries, account reconciliations, and financial statements

Maintain weekly cash flow forecasting

Partner with the CFO on budgeting, forecasting, and financial strategy

Conduct gross margin, labor, and overhead analysis to identify cost-saving opportunities

Provide financial insight to plant managers and department leads

Ensure compliance with GAAP/IFRS standards and federal/state/local tax regulations

Assist with audits and work closely with CPA firms

Support strategic initiatives such as mergers and acquisitions

Foster a positive and collaborative office environment

What You Bring:

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA/CMA/MBA a plus)

5+ years of accounting or finance experience

Strong cost accounting and inventory management skills

Advanced Excel skills and analytical mindset

Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving and communication skills

Manufacturing experience preferred
