Job Summary
We are in the process of re-writing a legacy application that has both internal and external versions, and we are seeking a Principal Front-End Software Engineer to join our team.
The ideal candidate will have expertise in Angular 16+ and will be able to navigate the complexities of meeting standardized coding practices while also finding creative solutions for this platform.
Key Responsibilities
Architect and implement micro-frontends with a focus on scalability and maintainability.
Collaborate closely with the back-end team and UX designers to ensure cohesive, user-centered experiences.
Mentor the backend team on UI best practices, ensuring effective collaboration across teams.
Lead the design and implementation of high-quality, consistent, and efficient front-end components.
Leverage expertise in Angular 16+ to build robust, modern web applications.
Participate in cross-functional discussions to drive UI/UX consistency across the development teams.
Contribute to the evaluation and decision-making process regarding the Fidelity Design System components versus custom components and third-party libraries.
Implement CI/CD practices to streamline development and deployment processes.
Required Qualifications
Expertise in Angular 16+, with hands-on experience using the latest features and technologies like signals.
Proven experience architecting micro-frontends and scalable front-end architectures.
Strong experience with Cypress and test automation.
Experience with CI/CD processes.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to negotiate UX trade-offs and align with broader design strategies.
Experience mentoring teams, particularly backend engineers, on front-end best practices.
Exposure to AWS or Azure.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with Java and Spring Boot for backend interactions.
Familiarity with cloud environments and DevOps practices.
