Minimum 1+ years school psychologist experience required.
An opportunity exists for a dedicated professional to support students in a K-12 educational environment in Berkeley, CA. This contract position is designed for a full-time School Psychologist ready to contribute to the academic and emotional well-being of students through assessments and testing.
Qualifications:
Masters or Doctoral degree in School Psychology or related field
Valid school psychologist credential or license
Experience with K-12 students, particularly in testing and evaluations
Strong understanding of special education laws and regulations
Excellent munication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work collaboratively with educators, parents, and other professionals
Location:
Berkeley, CA
Primarily at one or two school locations
Responsibilities:
Conduct psychological assessments and testing for students
Collaborate with faculty and staff to address student needs
Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and IEPs
Provide consultation to teachers and administrators regarding student evaluations
Develop and implement assessment plans
Maintain accurate and timely documentation of evaluations and findings
