Job Description
We are looking for a skilled Desktop Support Analyst to join our team in Madison, Wisconsin. This is a Contract-to-permanent position, offering the opportunity to work in a collaborative environment within a close-knit organization. The ideal candidate will bring expertise in IT support and a proactive approach to resolving technical challenges while delivering exceptional customer service.
Responsibilities:
• Provide hands-on support for Microsoft 365 applications, ensuring smooth operation and resolving user issues.
• Troubleshoot and resolve hardware and software problems for both Windows and Apple devices.
• Manage and maintain Active Directory, including user account setup and configuration.
• Diagnose and address basic networking issues, including connectivity and configuration challenges.
• Deliver superior customer service by responding promptly to technical inquiries and ensuring user satisfaction.
• Collaborate with team members to identify and implement solutions for recurring technical problems.
• Support and configure backup technologies to ensure data integrity and security.
• Assist with the setup and maintenance of Dell and other computer hardware.
• Utilize Citrix and Cisco technologies to provide remote access and maintain system functionality.
• Stay current with emerging technologies and best practices to enhance IT support services.• Minimum of 3 years of experience in IT support or desktop support roles.
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft 365 and its associated tools.
• Familiarity with troubleshooting hardware and software issues across multiple platforms, including Apple and Dell devices.
• Proficiency in Active Directory management and configuration.
• Basic understanding of network troubleshooting and configuration.
• Experience with Citrix, Cisco, and backup technologies.
• Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate technical concepts clearly.
• Willingness to learn and collaborate with a team-oriented mindset.
