Job Description
We are looking for a skilled Business Systems Analyst to join our team in San Antonio, Texas. This long-term contract position is ideal for someone with a keen eye for detail and a passion for analyzing and improving business processes. The successful candidate will play a critical role in optimizing systems, creating data-driven insights, and supporting organizational goals through innovative solutions.
Responsibilities:
• Evaluate and diagram existing processes to identify improvement opportunities in controls and workflows based on data analysis and standard operating procedures.
• Develop and present visually engaging design concepts and technical specifications to project teams.
• Create and maintain databases, spreadsheets, and reports using IT systems to track and analyze operational data.
• Optimize graphic and system solutions for usability, performance, and sustainability.
• Conduct research to design Fleet & Facilities divisional systems and enterprise asset-related products.
• Analyze fleet and facilities operations, propose recommendations, and assist in implementing process improvements.
• Prepare periodic maintenance reports to track trends, performance, and discrepancies in vehicle and facility operations.
• Develop financial and statistical models, segmentation schemes, and forecasts to support decision-making processes.
• Design mock-ups and wireframes for dashboards, reports, and scorecards based on functional area requirements.
• Lead data validation and quality assurance efforts to ensure accurate reporting and data integrity.• Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Access, with strong database management skills.
• Ability to independently use IT systems for maintenance and labor reporting to manage and retrieve data efficiently.
• Exceptional skills in presenting complex data clearly and concisely, both in writing and visually.
• Strong deductive reasoning and the ability to make independent judgments in high-pressure environments.
• Familiarity with work order management and operational reporting solutions.
• Experience with tools such as Atlassian Jira, Confluence, and CRM systems.
• Knowledge of business process functions, gap analysis, and Agile Scrum methodologies.
• Bachelor’s degree in business, computer information systems, management, or statistics.
