Job Title: Transformer Assembly Technician

Job Description

Join our expanding manufacturing facility as a Transformer Assembly Technician, where you will play a crucial role in assembling and reworking various sizes of transformers and related sub-assemblies. Utilize defined procedures, bills of materials, and equipment to contribute to the production of high-quality electrical components.

Must Haves

2+ years of manufacturing experience.

Proficiency in reading blueprints and drawings.

Experience in general labor or warehouse work.

Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.

Experience with TIG welding, core stacking, hot pressing, low voltage work, and press machine operations.

Responsibilities

Assemble various sizes of transformers and related sub-assemblies using defined procedures and bills of materials.

Rework damaged or defective component parts and complete assemblies.

Operate and maintain bake ovens, perform coil hot pressing, and conduct turn ratio testing (T.T.R).

Engage in low voltage welding and finishing tasks.

Perform lead pressing and stacking operations.

Conduct frequent simple grasping and fine manipulation tasks.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $21.75 - $21.75/hr.
