Job Description
We are looking for a dedicated Patient Services Representative to join our team in Waukesha, Wisconsin. This long-term contract position requires someone who is detail oriented and can provide exceptional support to patients while ensuring efficient clinic operations. You will play a vital role in creating a welcoming environment and maintaining smooth patient interactions.
Responsibilities:
• Monitor patient flow to ensure timely and courteous care.
• Assist patients with referrals, directions, and locating necessary resources such as wheelchairs.
• Perform visit closure tasks, including checking patients out and scheduling follow-up appointments.
• File, retrieve, and deliver patient information and records as needed.
• Complete required forms and documentation promptly and accurately.
• Handle inbound and outbound calls to address patient inquiries and concerns.
• Utilize electronic health record (EHR) systems and medical software to manage patient data effectively.
• Provide exceptional customer service, demonstrating empathy and professionalism in all interactions.
• Maintain effective communication with patients, staff, and external parties.
• Adapt to changing priorities and tasks as necessary to meet clinic needs.• Ability to type at least 40 words per minute.
• Previous experience in a clinic or scheduling role is beneficial but not required.
• Proficiency in using Microsoft Office Suite and medical software.
• Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems.
• Strong customer service skills, including handling inbound and outbound calls.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Ability to multi-task and adapt to changing priorities.
• A demeanor characterized by attention to detail, patience, and empathy in challenging situations.
