Job Description

We are looking for an experienced Network Manager (broad knowledge of Networks and Systems) to oversee and enhance our Client's organization's network infrastructure in Cedar Rapids, Iowa. This includes project scoping, project prioritizing, project time tracking, and bringing organization to the department. This role involves being hands on ensuring the seamless operation of network systems, managing hardware and software configurations, and driving efficiency in cloud and backup technologies. Responsibilities:

• Monitor and maintain network operations using Cisco, Arista, and Meraki technologies to ensure optimal performance.

• Implement and oversee network infrastructure technologies to support business operations effectively.

• Manage the integration and utilization of cloud-based technologies to enhance system capabilities.

• Ensure network stability by managing Active Directory and backup systems with precision.

• Address and resolve issues related to computer hardware and perform configuration management tasks.

• Oversee contracts and vendor relationships related to network systems and services.

• Contribute to maintaining a reliable data center environment through proactive management.

• Collaborate on project scoping and planning to align network solutions with organizational goals.• Minimum of 3 years of experience in network management or a related field.

• Proficiency in working with cloud technologies and backup systems.

• Strong knowledge of Active Directory and configuration management processes.

• Hands-on experience with Cisco and Arista hardware, as well as Meraki technologies.

• Familiarity with data center environments and subnetworks.

• Competence in Linux and Docker for network-related tasks.

• Ability to manage computer hardware and troubleshoot technical issues effectively.

• Proven ability to scope and execute projects, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
