Project Engineer - Land Development

Irvine, CA

Full-Time Hybrid Flexibility

We are currently partnering with a nationally recognized engineering consulting firm to identify a talented Project Engineer to join their Commercial Land Development team in Irvine, California. This is an exciting opportunity to work on high-impact projects with a collaborative and well-established team known for its technical excellence and client-focused approach.

Responsibilities:

Support the design and management of commercial land development projects from concept through construction.

Prepare engineering plans, reports, and specifications for site grading, drainage, utilities, and roadway design.

Coordinate with internal teams, clients, contractors, and public agencies to ensure project success.

Assist in permitting processes and regulatory compliance.

Conduct site visits and support construction administration as needed.

Mentor junior staff and contribute to a positive team culture.

Qualifications:

B.S. in Civil Engineering or related field (required).

E.I.T. certification (required); P.E. license (preferred or in progress).

3+ years of experience in land development engineering, preferably with commercial or mixed-use projects.

Proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D and related design software.

Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.

Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
