Job Position: Logistics Analyst

Location: Dallas, TX 75247

Pay Rate: $30–33/hr

Shift: 1st Shift • Mon–Fri, 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM + OT

Description:

We seek an individual who is keen to lead the Global Logistics department with a start-up mentality, backed by the stability of an established business. The ideal candidate will thrive on challenges and play a pivotal role in building, maintaining, and growing our supply chain operations.

Key Responsibilities:

Provider & Vendor Relationship Management

Manage daily relationships with logistics providers and drive performance improvements in client shipments.

Monitor and maintain KPI metrics; generate and analyze logistics reports to support process enhancements.

Conduct root cause analyses and implement corrective action plans to resolve issues or leverage improvement opportunities.

Adjust workflows based on internal and external requirements to align with customer needs and resolve delivery issues.

Oversee shipment exceptions, ensuring timely resolution and minimal disruption to client deliveries.

Negotiate with vendors to optimize costs and improve transportation service levels.

Customer Delivery Coordination

Handle daily communications for quoting, dispatching, documentation, status updates, and service changes.

Manage international return merchandise authorizations in accordance with import regulations.

Coordinate all aspects of White Glove deliveries, ensuring seamless hand-offs to service providers.

Importation & Internal Tracking

Organize the transportation of finished goods and ensure timely delivery updates to internal stakeholders.

Maintain accurate order tracking through platforms like Salesforce (Work-Relay) and ERP systems (Navision).

Continuously seek improvements in logistics processes to minimize operational exceptions.

Team Support & Logistics Projects

Support colleagues with daily operational tasks across the department.

Lead and contribute to process improvement initiatives to enhance overall logistics performance.

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Business, or a related field; or equivalent professional experience.

Minimum of 2 years customer service experience is required.

1–2 years of logistics experience preferred.

Familiarity with all transportation modes, including 3PL, LTL, TL, parcel, and freight forwarding, is highly preferred.

Strong problem-solving skills and attention to numerical detail.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, Excel) for data analysis and reporting.

Ability to multitask, prioritize projects, and work both independently and in a collaborative team environment.

Flexible with work schedule, including additional hours based on business demands.

Detail-oriented with the ability to perform well under pressure.
