The Manufacturing/Process Engineer (m/f/d) is part of the Manufacturing Engineering Team and supports projects to build a world-class Manufacturing Automation organization. This position is located close to Munich with a newly renovated factory in Baierbrunn. The role is an onsite position. In this role, you will have the opportunity to:
Manage the preventive maintenance activities in the production plant
Drive engineering changes in collaboration with the R&D team and ensure correct implementation of design changes
Act as a change agent to define manufacturing methods (like work instructions, tools, jigs, Process-FMEA and check lists) for new and existing products
Evaluate needed invest and assembly time of new production lines and cost saving programs
Define and provide test equipment, ensure correct documentation and support validation projects
Lead the elimination of MUDA in the production plant
Drive innovation and new ideas to improve productivity and automation in the assembly line
Design new packaging methods
The essential requirements of the job include:
Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Manufacturing/Production or Process Engineering or similar
3 to 5 years of work-related experience in manufacturing processes
Experience in the implementation of design changes in a manufacturing environment
Experience in preventive maintenance and maintenance analytics
Know-how in Data Analyst projects (e.g. Power BI)
Experience in working with interdisciplinary teams and implementing new ideas to improve productivity
Proficient in Microsoft 365 apps and Project Management Tools
Experience in lean manufacturing through QCC or Kaizens Event leadership
Proficiency in English and German is a plus
