Job Description
We are seeking a Maintenance Supervisor responsible for overseeing and owning the maintenance department. You will perform preventative and reactive mechanical and electrical maintenance up to 480v 3-phase on various equipment, including plastic injection machines, CNC Mills, drilling presses, hot stamp machinery, motors, welders, conveyors, bending machines, compressors, hydraulics, and Servo drives. You must be able to read and interpret electrical schematics and be comfortable operating independently. This position involves 20% preventative maintenance and 80% reactive maintenance, with 25% of the time spent in the office and 75% on the floor.
Responsibilities
Oversee and manage the maintenance department.
Perform preventative and reactive mechanical and electrical maintenance up to 480v 3-phase.
Maintain equipment such as plastic injection machines, CNC Mills, drilling presses, hot stamp machinery, motors, welders, conveyors, bending machines, compressors, hydraulics, and Servo drives.
Read and interpret electrical schematics.
Operate independently as the sole maintenance personnel.
Allocate 20% of time to preventative maintenance and 80% to reactive maintenance.
Spend 25% of time in the office and 75% on the production floor.Essential Skills
5+ years of industrial maintenance experience with hydraulic presses, pneumatics, and manual welders.
5+ years of electrical experience working with 480v 3-phase.
Ability to read schematics and use a voltmeter.
Experience with Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) procedures.
PLC troubleshooting skills.
Experience with preventative maintenance tasks such as greasing, lubricating, and changing filters on air compressors and other equipment.
Facility and grounds maintenance experience including mowing, snow removal, pest control, and basic plumbing and electrical work.Additional Skills & Qualifications
Experience developing preventative maintenance programs.
Plastic injection molding experience.
Experience working with vendors.
Strong tenure with previous employers (minimum of 2 years per role).
No previous attendance issues.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $62400.00 - $81120.00/yr.
