IT Auditor

Job Description

We are looking for an experienced IT Auditor to join our team on a long-term contract basis. In this role, you will play a critical part in assessing and ensuring the integrity of IT systems and processes. Responsibilities:

• Conduct thorough IT audits to evaluate compliance with Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) regulations.

• Review financial systems and processes to ensure accuracy and adherence to applicable standards.

• Perform pre-implementation reviews of IT systems to identify potential risks and recommend improvements.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to address audit findings and implement corrective actions.

• Develop and execute testing procedures for IT controls to ensure operational efficiency and reliability.

• Provide detailed reports and documentation of audit results to stakeholders.

• Stay updated on industry regulations and best practices to maintain compliance and improve audit processes.

• Offer recommendations to enhance IT governance and mitigate risks.

• Ensure timely completion of audit projects while maintaining high-quality standards.• Minimum of 10 years of experience in IT auditing or a related field.

• Strong knowledge of Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) compliance requirements.

• Proven expertise in conducting financial audits and evaluating IT systems.

• Ability to perform pre-implementation reviews of IT systems effectively.

• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills to address complex audit findings.

• Strong communication skills to present audit results and collaborate with teams.

• Up-to-date knowledge of industry standards and regulatory requirements.

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Accounting, or a related field.
