Salary: $150,000+ plus commissions and excellent benefits

Summary:

We are seeking an energetic and tenacious hunter-type salesperson who can lead our New Business Development initiatives. This role is perfect for someone who thrives on generating new business opportunities, enjoys networking, and is motivated by closing deals. As a relentless "hunter," you will focus on identifying and acquiring new clients, driving revenue growth, and expanding market share. This person will be traveling approx. 50-60% of the time (all approved travel expenses reimbursed). Laptop and mobile phone provided.

Key Responsibilities:

Drives sales and business development activities:

Execute sales plans

Meet or exceed monthly and quarterly goals

Maintain accurate contact records, leverage CRM

Leveraging various lead generation methods

Directs inquiries to proper resources within the company when needed, drives resolution

Relationship-building

Identify key decision makers, stakeholders

Understand their needs

Present tailored solutions

Client acquisition

Build a robust pipeline of potential clients

Covert into leads / specific opportunities

Capture design wins (current or next generation projects)

Effectively manage negotiations

Close deals in a timely manner

Gather market feedback

Analysis company feedback around Bead current product offering, identify improved ways to leverage current capabilities.

Identify opportunities / new applications for current capabilities

Identify trends for new markets opportunities or for expanded Bead capabilities

Strong collaboration

Work with the engineering group

Determine product feasibility and resource requirements

Support the development and launch of new products into the market

Qualifications:

5+ years of hunter selling experience in a B2B environment a must

Market experience or awareness in one of the following markets or industries:

Industrial controls and sensors

Mechanical interfaces

Interconnect solutions

Transportation / commercial vehicles

Custom components / metalforming

Proficiency with CRM and Microsoft Office required, with a working knowledge of ERP systems and business processes

Experience reading engineering prints and specifications.

Strong oral and written communications skills

Bachelors degree with appropriate experience required

Preferred Qualifications (but not required):

Sales experience with a Custom Solution

Experience representing one or more of the following:

Manufacturing

Metal forming

Component fabrication

Assembly
