Job Description
Robert Half is seeking a detail-oriented Accounting Assistant for a contract-to-hire opportunity with a client specializing in commercial sales of heavy machinery across the Latin American market. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in accounts payable (AP), proficiency in QuickBooks Online and SAP, and experience in international commercial sales operations.
Key Responsibilities:
Process and manage accounts payable transactions, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
Maintain and update financial records in QuickBooks Online and SAP systems.
Assist in the preparation of financial reports and statements.
Reconcile vendor statements and resolve discrepancies promptly.
Collaborate with sales and logistics teams to ensure accurate billing and inventory records.
Support month-end and year-end closing processes.
Ensure compliance with company policies and accounting principles.
Qualifications:
Minimum of 2 years of experience in accounts payable or general accounting.
Proficiency in QuickBooks Online and SAP.
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
Excellent communication skills in English; proficiency in Spanish is a plus.
