We are looking for an experienced Vice President of Finance to join our client's leadership team in Wichita, Kansas. This role will oversee the organization's financial planning, reporting, and compliance, ensuring the company's financial health and strategic growth. As a smaller organization ($45M in Rev) we are looking for someone to take on this key role to be an advisor to executive management and play a pivotal role in shaping the company's financial strategy and driving informed decision-making. While this is a VP role, it is still very much in the weeds, so we need someone that isn't afraid to get their hands dirty! Comp up to $125k +/-

Responsibilities:

• Oversee daily cash flow management to maintain operational liquidity and financial stability.

• Lead and mentor the accounting team, fostering growth and accountability in financial processes.

• Analyze and review Profit & Loss statements and Balance Sheets to ensure accuracy and completeness.

• Align financial performance with organizational forecasts and strategic objectives.

• Prepare and deliver monthly financial reports to lenders and investors, addressing inquiries promptly.

• Manage the annual audit process, ensuring it is completed accurately and on time.

• Coordinate tax preparation efforts and ensure compliance with reporting requirements.

• Collaborate with leasing companies to negotiate favorable financing terms.

• Review organizational expenses to ensure they align with budgets and identify cost-saving opportunities.

• Monitor inventory levels and strategize financing solutions for operational needs.

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.

• Minimum of 8 years of progressive leadership experience in finance, preferably in multi-department or multi-location environments.

• Comprehensive knowledge of corporate finance, US GAAP, tax compliance, and audit standards.

• Proven ability to coach and develop teams while communicating financial concepts to non-finance stakeholders.

• Strong analytical skills combined with excellent leadership and interpersonal communication abilities.

• Experience managing inventory financing, leasing agreements, and insurance policies.

• Expertise in financial reporting and month-end close processes.

• Familiarity with risk management practices to identify and mitigate organizational risk
