Clayborn Technician/Machine Operator
Job Description
I am seeking seeking qualified candidates for a Clayborn Technician/Machine Operator role to support our client's production team. This role involves preparing and cutting raw materials to specified lengths, and with training, operating machinery to apply heater tape and thermal insulation to tubing assemblies.
Responsibilities
Maintain a clean and organized workspace.
Work closely with the production manager and lead technicians.
Prepare and cut tubing, wire, and other raw materials to the correct lengths.
Stage, modify, and prepare technical components for assembly.
Provide light assembly and production support.
Apply heater tape to tubing using specialized machinery.
Install control components.
Insulate heated tubing with thermal insulation.
Apply unheated tubing and pass-through wiring to umbilicals.
Apply outer braiding, covers, heat shrink boots, and labeling.
Package finished goods for shipment.Essential Skills
Ability to read and interpret drawings, including fractional and decimal measurements.
Comfortable using a computer tablet to access the production schedule.
Capable of standing and walking for extended periods while performing assembly tasks.
Attention to detail when operating machinery.
Bilingual (English and Spanish).
Ability to occasionally lift up to 60 pounds.Additional Skills & Qualifications
Experience in a leadership role (preferred).Work Environment
Work in a medical manufacturing environment with shifts from Monday to Thursday, 5:00 AM to 3:00 PM, currently running half days on Friday. The environment requires standing and walking for extended periods, and involves using specialized machinery and handling various technical components.

Job Type & Location
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of West Valley City, Utah.
The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $20.00/hr.
