Are you a dynamic sales leader with a strong background in the nutrition or pharmaceutical sectors? Our client, a global leader in life sciences, is seeking a Head of Sales to lead their Nutrition and Pharma sales operations across North, Central, and South America.
About the Role
This is a high-impact leadership role responsible for driving regional commercial strategy, managing sales teams, and expanding market share. You’ll work closely with executive leadership and cross-functional teams to meet ambitious growth goals, with a strong focus on the U.S. market.
Key Responsibilities
Sales Leadership:
Develop and execute strategic sales plans across the Americas.
Lead special growth projects and oversee product launches.
Monitor and optimize pricing, forecasts, and budget performance.
Team Management:
Lead a remote, regional sales team; hire, coach, and drive performance.
Set KPIs, lead training efforts, and support professional development.
Client & Market Engagement:
Maintain and grow customer relationships; represent the company at trade shows and events.
Stay ahead of market trends and competitor activity.
Cross-Functional Collaboration:
Work closely with global leadership and departments like Supply Chain, Customer Service, and Quality.
Provide regular updates on financials, sales performance, and project progress.
Qualifications
10+ years of B2B sales experience in life sciences, nutrition, pharma, or specialty chemicals.
5+ years in a commercial leadership role with experience leading remote or regional teams.
Proven success in driving revenue growth and leading complex sales cycles.
Deep knowledge of the North American market; familiarity with Central/South America is a plus.
Proficient in CRM tools (e.g., Salesforce).
Willingness to travel up to 50%, including international trips.
