How you'll contribute to our Partner's success:
As a key member of the agronomy team, you will support the company's chemical and fertilizer programs by managing inventory, procurement, and material allocations. Reporting directly to the Director of Agronomy and overseeing two direct reports, your role will help ensure efficient and cost-effective operations across the farming business.
Oversee Chemical and Fertilizer Inventory: Manage centralized warehouse inventory, ensuring accurate tracking and timely availability of materials for field operations.
Procure Inputs at Competitive Prices: Source and purchase agronomic materials based on recommendations from the agronomist, going out to bid and negotiating the best pricing and terms.
Coordinate Material Allocations: Work closely with spray teams to allocate chemicals and fertilizers effectively across various blocks and applications.
Lead and Support Staff: Supervise two direct reports, ensuring smooth day-to-day operations, accurate record-keeping, and alignment with agronomic plans.
