Job Overview:
We are seeking an experienced and technically skilled IT Helpdesk Support Engineer to join our IT team. This role will be responsible for providing IT support for our offices in California and New Jersey, ensuring employees receive timely assistance with hardware, software, and network-related issues. The IT Helpdesk Engineer will report directly to the Group IT team in China.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide daily technical support and troubleshoot hardware, software, and network issues for employees.
Maintain and support the companys IT infrastructure, primarily based on Cisco networking and VMware servers.
Diagnose and resolve network connectivity issues to ensure smooth system operations.
Assist employees with setting up, installing, and maintaining computer hardware, operating systems, and applications.
Track and manage IT requests and incidents to ensure timely resolution.
Report issues and provide technical recommendations to the Group IT team.
Support remote troubleshooting and ensure seamless cross-regional collaboration.
Perform other IT-related tasks and provide project support as needed.Job Requirements:
Minimum of 1 years of experience in IT Helpdesk or related roles.
Hands-on experience with Cisco networking devices and configuration management.
Basic knowledge and support experience with VMware virtualization platforms.
Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to respond quickly in high-pressure situations.
Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate with teams from different backgrounds.
Fluent in English; proficiency in Chinese is a plus.
Experience in maintaining IT systems in pharmaceutical GLP/GMP environments is a plus
