We are seeking a Staff Product Manager - Fraud to lead the development and optimization of ID.me's fraud prevention and detection tools. This role will own the strategy and roadmap for internal and third-party systems that detect, investigate, and mitigate fraud on our platform. The ideal candidate combines product management expertise with a strong understanding of fraud risk, identity verification, and data-driven decision making.

This role is critical to safeguarding our network, protecting public trust, and enabling scalable fraud-fighting capabilities across the company.Responsibilities

Define and execute the Product strategy and roadmap for fraud detection, prevention, and case management tools

Collaborate with Fraud, Engineering, Data Science, Security, and Compliance teams to deliver high-impact solutions

Own the fraud risk engine and integrate across internal products and with external partners

Evaluate and integrate third-party fraud vendors and build custom in-house tools where necessary

Coordinate with other Product teams to establish fraud controls and tooling across all products

Translate fraud use cases into clear product requirements, workflows, and success metrics

Prioritize features and improvements based on fraud risk reduction, user impact, and business value

Partner with the Fraud Data Science, Fraud Investigations, and Fraud Operations teams to define requirements for tagging systems, data pipelines, and model outputs

Establish feedback loops to continuously improve fraud tools based on investigation outcomes and threat trends

Track KPIs such as detection accuracy, false positive rates, tool usage, and operational efficiency

Stay current on fraud trends, tools, and technologies to inform product evolutionBasic Qualifications

6+ years of experience in product management, ideally in fraud, risk, security, or identity

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science

2+ years of experience working with fraud detection systems, risk signals, and identity verification flows

Preferred Qualifications

Proven track record of owning complex products end-to-end in a cross-functional environment

Experience working with data teams and ML/AI systems, including model inputs and outputs

Ability to write clear product requirements and communicate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders

Detail-oriented with strong organizational and problem-solving skills

Passion for protecting users and stopping fraud at scale

Experience working in fraud/risk at a SaaS, fintech, govtech, or cybersecurity company is a plus

Experience with case management systems, fraud risk engines, and/or investigation tools

Technical background or experience with APIs, SQL, and product analytics tools

The annual base salary listed does not include a company bonus, incentive for sales roles, equity and benefits which will be determined based on experience, skills, education, relevant training, geographic location and role.

The above represents the anticipated total rewards package for this job requisition. Final offers may vary from the amount listed based on qualifications, professional experiences, skills, education, relevant training, geographic location, and other job related factors.

$175,000—$206,900 USD

Mountain View, CA Pay Range

$202,866—$250,000 USD
