Contract Manager

ABOUT THE ROLE

We are seeking an experienced Contract Manager to join our Commercial & Contractual Services Group. This role is integral to ensuring the effective execution and management of contracts with our clients. You will be responsible for overseeing the entire contract lifecycle, including negotiation, drafting, implementation, and renewal. Working collaboratively with various internal stakeholders, you will help ensure contractual compliance, mitigate potential risks, and optimise agreements to deliver value for both Kinetic IT and our clients.

This is a hybrid position based in Perth, involving a combination of office-based work, client site visits, and remote working arrangements.

IF YOU WERE YESTERDAY, THESE ARE SOME OF THE THINGS YOU WOULD BE INVOLVED IN:

Drafting, reviewing, and amending contracts, including Statements of Work.

Collaborating with clients and stakeholders to finalise and negotiate contractual terms and conditions.

Facilitating the seamless implementation of contracts, providing guidance on contractual obligations, and ensuring ongoing compliance throughout the contract lifecycle.

Acting as the primary point of contact for contractual matters, fostering strong relationships with key stakeholders, and addressing any client queries or concerns.

Regularly analysing contract performance to identify opportunities for improvement, optimisation, and added value.

Proactively managing contract renewals and scope expansions, while contributing to the development of policies that support broader business objectives.

KEEN TO GET INVOLED? YOU'LL JUST NEED SOME OF THE FOLLOWING:

Current Australian citizen to meet site compliance requirements

Professional certification or studies in commercial business acumen

Expertise in contract management, compliance, and negotiations

Proven experience managing commercial relationships and contract performance

Ability to translate complex contract requirements into effective solutions

Experience with IT asset management, financial processes, and Service Request Management

Background in supporting major account growth proposals alongside sales teams

Strong legal skills, with the ability to draft complex provisions with minimal support

Willingness to travel intermittently as needed

Experience working with federal government contracts is highly advantageous
