A Day In The Life
As a Senior ServiceNow Engineer, you will focus on enhancing user experiences, optimizing workflows for process improvements, and identifying low-code opportunities for technical and business stakeholders. Your expertise in process engineering will be crucial in maximizing the functionality of the ServiceNow platform.
In this role, you will:
Enhance User Experience: Design and implement user-centered workflows on the ServiceNow platform for a seamless user experience.
Process Optimization: Utilize your process engineering expertise to streamline workflows, enhancing overall efficiency.
Low-Code Solutions: Work alongside business stakeholders to identify and create low-code solutions that support process improvements.
Feedback and Adoption: Establish end-user feedback loops to gather insights and promote the usage of ServiceNow solutions across the enterprise.
Training and Support: Provide users with training and support to cultivate a culture of continuous improvement and knowledge sharing.
Best Practices: Stay updated on releases and solutions, implementing ITIL/ITSM best practices while prioritizing quality assurance and security in all implementations.
Team Support and Issue Resolution: Assist in troubleshooting production issues and manage your time to effectively meet deadlines independently.
What We Need From You
Bachelor's Degree Required
8+ years of experience in a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience is required
3+ years of experience focusing on ServiceNow UX design and user-friendly interface creation is required
5+ years in developing ServiceNow solutions that align with business and customer goals is required
8+ years of delivering IT solutions to business initiatives is required
Platform Management: Proven expertise in utilizing ITIL/ITSM and IAM standards for service catalog, knowledge base, and access management.
Employee Experience: Experience in delivering full ITSM Pro capabilities to optimize employee efficiency and engagement.
UX Design: Experience in creating unified user-friendly experiences across multiple platforms.
Workflow Engineering: Proficient in a mix of white-glove and low-code process engineering that drives successful business outcomes.
Automation and Integrations: Skilled in utilizing automations and integrations, including Integration Hub and Automated Test Framework (ATF).
Experience in delivering solutions using Agile methodologies.
Certified System Administrator is required.
IT Service Management certification is preferred.
Certified Application Developer is preferred.
Physical and Environmental Requirements
Office: The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an associate to successfully perform essential job functions. Daily duties involve analyzing and interpreting data, communicating effectively, and remaining stationary for extended periods while frequently accessing, inputting, and retrieving information through computers and other office devices. Associates are often required to move around the office space and corporate campus. This role may require lifting up to 10 pounds regularly and occasionally up to 25 pounds.
Travel Requirements
10% travel may be required to various sites, including out-of-state locations for business needs.
