Job Title: Sr. Project Planner/ Scheduler with Top Secret Clearance
Location: EL Segundo, CA 90245
Duration: 12 Months with possibility of extension
Pay Rate: $98/hr. on w2 without benefits
Shift Timing (Day/ Evening/ Night): First 8 am to 4:30 pm
Job Summary:
A successful candidate will develop and manage project schedules. Support Project Managers by providing schedule analysis based on project status, developing mitigation plans as required. And generate "what if" scenarios for Project Manager as requested.
Role & Responsibilities:
Independently develops, coordinates, integrates, analyzes, and maintains an integrated plan and schedule to meet program and/or project requirements in accordance with project management industry standards.
Performs studies, analysis (trend, variance, impact), risk assessments to determine impacts, and constraints involving product development, production rates, process improvement, program initiatives.
Creates schedule, reports, metrics, change activity, communicates and updates plan regularly throughout lifecycle of program or project.
Works to improve project management processes, business systems, and implement best practices that support project decision makers.
Directs all phases of projects or subsystems of major projects from inception through completion.
Acts as primary project contact to establish key stakeholder requirements and project objectives.
Assists customers to develop performance recovery plan and ensure all project control systems are in place to support ongoing support to stakeholders.
Required Skills:
Experience working with cross-functional teams across different geographic locations & time-zones
Experience working with program managers to develop & manager project schedule baselines
Experienced in managing complex integrated schedules, earned value management system (EVMS), using scheduling tools (ex. MS Project or Milestone Professional)
Experience with managing and analyzing resource loaded schedules
Experience leading a team
Top Secret Clearance

10+ years of related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience
Agile / JIRA experience
Experience with early development programs
In scope CI polygraph
Travel Comments:
Up to 10% domestic travel for which a corporate credit card will be issued.
Education/Experience:
Bachelor's degree and typically 15 or more years' related work experience, a Master's degree and typically 13 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience
