ROLE IMPACT

Play a pivotal role in the aerospace manufacturing process by executing grinding operations on mission-critical components. Your expertise in CNC ID and OD grinding will ensure the accuracy and quality required by industry-leading performance standards. All travel expenses including flights, hotel, and per diem are fully covered, making this a turnkey opportunity for skilled grinders.

KEY DUTIES

Set up and operate CNC ID or OD precision grinders (centerless or cylindrical)

Perform machine setups including truing, dressing wheels, and calibration

Grind aerospace components to ultra-tight tolerances per spec

Follow exact setup instructions and perform in-process verification

Maintain tooling condition and adherence to grinding best practices

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

3+ years of CNC precision grinding experience (ID/OD centerless or cylindrical)

Ability to independently set up, true, and dress grinding wheels

Experience working within aerospace or high-tolerance manufacturing environments

EQUIPMENT & WORK ENVIRONMENT

Machines: CNC centerless and cylindrical ID/OD grinders

Materials: High-performance aerospace components

Tools: Grinding wheels, truing/dressing tools, gauges

PREFERRED SKILLS

Direct experience with ID/OD precision grinding

Familiarity with machining standards

Experience in maintaining grinding tolerances under tight quality constraints
