Duties, Responsibilities and Desired Traits:

Contribute to the ongoing efforts to promote and set an example of PMC Group I’s mission and goals.

Primary objectives lie within the NY Metro Region with occasional short-term assignments involving US travel.

Manage consulting clients, projects and priorities on a daily basis.

Participating in and contributing to client meetings.

Preparing client facing reports and documentation such as Project Quotes, MOPs (Methods of Procedure), Site Safety Reviews, LO/TO (Lock Out Tag Out) procedures, Scopes of Work, etc.

Performing field work, including Project Management, Building Shutdowns and Supervision of Electrical and Mechanical Equipment Maintenance, Testing and Commissioning Activities.

Perform the following analysis and studies: Short Circuit Analysis; Energy Audits; Over Current Protective Device Selective Coordination Analysis; Power Quality Studies; Condition Assessment Reports; Operational Assessments; Load Studies; and Power Distribution Systems Reliability Studies.

Application and knowledge of the following Codes and Standards: National Electric Code (NEC); National Fire Protection Association Codes and Standards (NFPA); New York City Building and Electrical Codes (NYCBC & NYCBEC); Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers (IEEE); and International Electrical Testing Association (NETA).

Possess capabilities to read and red-line AutoCAD drawings, prints or schematics.

Translation of complex functional and technical requirements into project plans and schedules.

Coordinate resource efforts, incorporating automation to efficiently meet goals and deadlines.

Engage customer centric processes, engaging the right resources, implementation and onboarding to drive customer success and long-term relationships.

Strengthen our consulting and technology solutions, thereby improving our overall effectiveness in the market and profitability.

Educate and mentor new and existing team members on Industry Standards and customer expectations.

Assure that clients receive services which meet or exceed their expectations, PMC Group I’s corporate commitments, and the highest standards of our profession with respect to ethical conduct, quality and timeliness.

Discover and implement new methods and technologies that yield competitive advantage.

Management and execution against project plans and delivery commitments.

Deliver quality projects on-time and on-budget.

Tracking project-related time and expenses.

Monitor KPIs and budgets to assess performance.

Use stakeholder/client feedback to incorporate necessary improvements and adjustments to our consulting and technology processes and operations.

Maintain a healthy and collaborative culture that embodies PMC Group I’s values.

Work closely with leaders across the company to identify and align priorities, set direction for the team, and drive towards a unified vision.

Support marketing and sales efforts with technology focused marketing and sales content to drive sales opportunities to close.

Utilize technology solutions, including our CRM application (HubSpot) to manage Consulting & Technology Deals & Projects in an automated and documented way.

Contribute to the development and implementation of PMC Group I’s Consulting & Technology Business Lines.

Maintain current engineering and technical knowledge to support rapidly changing technology.

Desirables:

Experience in the operation, maintenance, testing and commissioning of facility mission critical power and mechanical systems, including emergency power systems, Uninterruptible Power Supplies (UPS), Generators, Static Transfer Switches (STS), Automatic Transfer Switches (ATS), Power Distribution Units (PDU), Cooling Systems, HVAC, CRAC, etc.

Proven experience creating client facing reports and documentation such as Project Quotes, MOPs (Methods of Procedure), Site Safety Reviews, LO/TO (Lock Out Tag Out) procedures, Scopes of Work, etc.

Demand side energy management auditing and analysis experience.

Capable of performing feasibility studies and have thorough knowledge of word processing, spreadsheet, database and project management software (MS Word, MS Excel, etc.)

Experience and familiarity with SKM Systems Analysis software and MS Project software.

Education & Skills:

Bachelors Degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering, or relevant military and industry experience.

Minimum of 5 years consulting services or similar/related experience.

Result-oriented individual with a proven track record in providing profitable professional services coupled with a high level of client satisfaction.

Thoroughly familiar with Mission Critical (24x7) environments, including data centers, call centers, emergency operation centers and medical facilities.

Ability to work well with other principals and team members in a team-spirited collaborative environment that distinctly values contributions of all individuals and fosters PMC Group I as a superior place to build a career.

Sustained record of accomplishment as a project leader and hands on Project Manager on major projects with the ability to organize and motivate teams and mentor junior team members.

Strong sense of urgency in responding to stakeholders, including team members, management and clients.

Ability to solve complex technical problems.

Strong interpersonal, motivational, and communication skills (speaking, writing, presenting).

Passion for continuous learning and intense intellectual curiosity.

Ability to operate simultaneously and effectively in both tactical and strategic modes with excellent attention to detail.

Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects.
