Quality Manager

We’re excited to share an opportunity for an existing vacancy as Quality Manager.

Daily responsibilities may include but are not limited to:

Leading and maintaining the Quality Management System in compliance with ISO 9001 standards

Overseeing quality control processes for welding and fabrication operations

Conducting internal audits and managing external audit coordination

Implementing root cause analysis and corrective action plans

Driving Six Sigma and continuous improvement initiatives across production lines

Managing quality documentation, NCRs, and supplier quality performance

Collaborating cross-functionally with production, engineering, and customer service teams

Mentoring and training team members on quality standards and procedures

Mandatory Requirements:

5+ years of experience in a Quality Management role within a welding/fabrication or manufacturing environment

In-depth knowledge of ISO 9001 standards and implementation

Six Sigma certification (Green Belt or higher)

Strong leadership and team coordination skills

Proven experience in audit management and quality system oversight

Preferred Requirements:

Post-secondary education in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related technical field

CWB (Canadian Welding Bureau) knowledge or certification

Experience with lean manufacturing principles

Familiarity with statistical process control (SPC) and quality software tools

Location: Hamilton, Ontario

Salary Range: $120,000 - $130,000
