Class Details:
A paid four-week training program that equips you with the skills and knowledge needed to provide essential care and support.
The opportunity to receive a job offer as part of Cedar Community’s nursing team.
Upon completing the program and earning your certification, you will transition into an open nursing assistant role.
Flexible Training
· 45 hours of online learning you can do anywhere.
· 19 hours in-person skills lab.
· 16 hours hands-on clinical practice in our skilled nursing facility.
Earning While Learning
· 80 hours of paid training time!
· Start at $14.75/hour during training.
· Jump to $20/hour once certified, with awesome shift differentials:
· AM (Sat-Sun): +$3/hour
· PM (Mon-Fri): +$5/hour (Sat-Sun): +$7/hour
· NOC (Mon-Fri): +$4/hour (Sat-Sun): +$6/hour
What You’ll Learn:
Essential caregiving skills like taking vital signs, assisting with bathing, dressing, and more.
Communication skills to engage with residents, families, and coworkers.
Protecting resident rights and providing quality care.
** PLEASE NOTE: After you have successfully completed the Nursing Assistant training course, your employment status is subject to certain state regulations. At this stage, you can either adopt a FULL-TIME STATUS, or not be in active employment at all. After obtaining your certification, however, you'll have the freedom to work the hours and status you were initially hired for.**
Session Details:
Start Date: Monday July 7th, 2025
Required In-Person Dates:
· Fridays: July 11th, 2025; July 18th, 2025; July 25th, 2025
· Times: Between the hours of 07:00AM and 03:00PM
· Clinicals: Monday July 28th, 2025; Tuesday July 29th, 2025; Wednesday July 30th, 2025
· Times: 07:30AM to 03:00PM
· State Skills Test: Friday August 1st, 2025
