Key Responsibilities
Operate, manage, and troubleshoot compute infrastructure (HCI, VMs, servers, hypervisors, firewalls, etc.).
Maintain and secure backend services such as DNS, DHCP, VPN, Syslog, and Web Proxy.
Implement infrastructure changes using best practices and change control procedures.
Develop and maintain system architecture documentation, SOPs, and BCP strategies.
Monitor infrastructure health and respond to issues in line with SLA targets.
Support development and integration of OSS/BSS and monitoring tools (e.g., Zabbix).
Mentor junior technical staff and contribute to internal knowledge sharing.
Collaborate with external vendors, consultants, and internal stakeholders.
Contribute to infrastructure security, risk assessments, audits, and patch management.
Support technical aspects of business development and customer engagements.
Skills & Qualifications
Required:
3-5 years of experience managing Unix-based compute infrastructure, storage, VMs, firewalls, and core services.
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field (or equivalent experience).
Proficient in VMware, Linux/Unix OS (Ubuntu, Red Hat, CentOS), and scripting (Bash, Python, PHP).
Strong understanding of TCP/IP networking, VPNs, DNS, routing, and firewalls.
Demonstrated experience in disaster recovery, backup strategies, and high availability systems.
Excellent documentation, troubleshooting, and communication skills.
Preferred Certifications (any of the following):
Red Hat Certified Engineer (RHCE)
VMware VCP-NV or VCP-CMA
VCAP-NV Deployment
CISSP or equivalent
